Day 1: Jakarta Arrival
Arrive in Jakarta and explore the colonial charm of the capital — from Dutch canals to Chinese temples — with time to relax before your adventure begins.
Day 2: Jakarta City Highlights
Discover Indonesia in miniature at TMII, stroll through the historic port of Sunda Kelapa, and enjoy old Batavia’s charm before staying at the airport hotel for an early Borneo flight.
Day 3: Into the Orangutan Kingdom
Fly to Pangkalan Bun, board a traditional klotok riverboat, and cruise into Tanjung Harapan’s rainforest to meet orangutans in their natural home.
Day 4: Camp Leakey Exploration
Journey deeper into Borneo’s rivers to Camp Leakey, trek in the jungle, and meet rehabilitated and wild orangutans, along with gibbons and exotic birds.
Day 5: From Borneo to Central Java
Cruise back to Kumai, fly to Semarang, explore temples and colonial landmarks, then drive to vibrant Jogjakarta.
Day 6: Royal Palaces & Ancient Temples
Visit the Sultan’s Palace, Taman Sari Water Castle, and UNESCO-listed Borobudur and Mendut temples, steeped in Buddhist history.
Day 7: Cultural Solo
Day trip to Solo to explore royal palaces, ancient Hindu temples, and bustling flea markets.
Day 8: Majestic Prambanan
Return to Jogjakarta to explore Prambanan’s towering Hindu temples and Ramayana carvings before relaxing at your hotel.
Day 9: Volcano Adventure
Fly to Surabaya and drive to Mount Bromo, set amid a dramatic volcanic landscape.
Day 10: Sunrise at Bromo
Witness sunrise over Bromo and Semeru from Mount Pananjakan, trek to the crater rim, then fly to Makassar.
Day 11: Journey to Tana Toraja
Drive through Sulawesi’s scenic highlands to Rantepao, heart of Toraja culture.
Day 12: South Toraja Traditions
Visit cliff tombs, baby graves in ancient trees, and traditional villages with wooden carvings and rice field views.
Day 13: North Toraja Landscapes
See Tongkonan houses, weaving villages, and the highland beauty of Batutumonga before trekking between traditional settlements.
Day 14: Return to Makassar
